A thriving haven for Nature, Wildlife and People

Realising an exciting opportunity to transform around 10 acres of Herefordshire farm land into a thriving haven for nature, wildlife and people…

The seed was planted in a conversation with Sowerpaw Forestry when Pete and his team were creating our amazing wedding clearing in the old Christmas tree plantation. He introduced us to the Woodland trust who backed our ideas and 2000 native trees arrived on the farm mid February 2022, a couple of years later than planned thanks to the interruption of covid 19.

LochNest, a beautiful 1.5 acre pond dug and puddled in January 2022 a central feature in our gentle rewilding project, with depth from 1.5m to just 0.5m and spreading onto low-lying areas developing wetland fringes, LochNest really is a haven for wildlife.

Our commitment to sustainability drives us to create spaces where nature can thrive alongside our community. With each passing season, we invite you to witness the transformation of Little Verzons Farm into a sanctuary that not only supports wildlife but also offers a place for people to connect with the beauty of the natural world. Join us on this journey of rewilding and rediscovery, where every visit brings new adventures and the joy of being immersed in nature’s embrace.
